OUR STORY

How one lacrosse mom turned backpack chaos into a solution trusted by 18,000+ female athletes nationwide.

Sideline Bags was founded by Meredith Hudson, a former D1 Yale athlete, lacrosse mom, and someone who truly understands what female athletes need. She couldn't find anything that truly addressed the needs of female athletes, so she built it herself.

A note from our founder

The Problem Every Athlete Knows

It started on the sidelines of a lacrosse field. Meredith Hudson — former Division I athlete and now lacrosse mom — watched her own daughters dig through their backpacks, constantly searching for everything they needed to get ready for practice and games. Lost earrings. Tangled necklaces. Jewelry shoved into a plastic bag that was definitely meant for snacks, not valuables. Makeup bags didn’t cut it. Plastic bags ripped and failed. And female athletes deserve better. They deserve gear designed specifically for them — for what they carry, what they care about, and how they move through their day. So Meredith decided to build it herself.
